Menu Plan Monday - Jan. 5, 2009

Since we are less than two weeks away from our big, once-every-two-months grocery trip, our meals are becoming an creative effort to clean out the pantry, fridge, and freezer. I love to be free of all little bits of anything before I stock back up. This also makes it much easier to see what I still have on hand when planning my meals for the next eight-to-nine weeks.

So here’s our plan:

Monday (Bryan night meeting): Frozen Salisbury Steak (from Angel Food) and Cheesy Potato Soup

Tuesday (Emelie 4-H Horse Judging): Taco Salad

Wednesday (AWANA night): Frozen Pizza, Boxed Mac ‘n Cheese, and Smoked Sausage Sandwiches (not enough of any one thing to feed all of us!)

Thursday (
C.R.O.S.S. day): Hot Chili Cheese Dip and Chips

Friday: Pizza and other yummies at Bible study

Saturday: Sweet & Sour Sausage over egg noodles, broccoli
